Artwork Approval Policy

Artwork Approval Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Every custom product from 15X Prints is printed using the artwork you provide. This Artwork Approval Policy explains how to send your files, what makes a file print-ready, and what you are agreeing to when you approve your artwork.

1. How to send your artwork

  • On the product page: use the "Upload your Artwork" button before adding the product to your cart. We accept JPG and PDF files up to 100 MB.
  • Larger files or extra files: use our Artwork Request page or contact us through our Contact Us page and we will help you send them.
  • Need a design template? See our Design Templates.

2. Setup fee

A one-time setup fee of $30 applies to each uploaded design, up to $150 per order. It covers checking and preparing your file for print and is shown in your cart before checkout.

3. File requirements

  • Size: design your file at the final print size (or to scale) for the product and size you order.
  • Resolution: images should be at least 150 DPI at final print size. Low-resolution images may look blurry or pixelated when printed.
  • Color: CMYK files give the most predictable color. RGB files will be converted to CMYK, which can change some bright colors.
  • Text and fonts: convert text to outlines (or embed fonts) in PDF files so they print exactly as designed.
  • Safe area and bleed: keep important text and logos away from the edges, and extend background colors and images to the edge of the design. Leave extra room near areas used for grommets, pole pockets or hems.

4. Our file check

Before printing, we check your file for technical issues such as resolution, size and format. If we find a problem, we will contact you before production. Our file check is not a proofreading service: we do not check spelling, grammar, phone numbers, prices, design choices or the accuracy of your content.

5. Proofs and approval

  • Where a digital proof is provided, please review it carefully, including spelling, phone numbers, website addresses, layout, size and orientation.
  • Production starts only after your artwork or proof is approved. Approval can be given by replying to a proof, by confirming in writing, or by placing your order with print-ready artwork and agreeing to this policy at checkout.
  • Requested changes after a proof may delay your order. Major design changes may involve an additional design charge, which we will tell you about before doing the work.

6. What you agree to when you approve

By approving your artwork or proof, you confirm that:

  • the content, spelling, layout, size and orientation are correct and ready to print;
  • you accept responsibility for any errors in the approved artwork, and reprints needed because of those errors will be charged as a new order;
  • you understand that colors on screens and proofs can look slightly different from the final printed product;
  • you own or have the right to use all content in the artwork, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

7. Changes and cancellations after approval

Once artwork is approved and your order enters production, it can no longer be changed or cancelled. See our Refund & Returns Policy for what happens if there is a problem with your printed product.
